i-UNAT, founding member of the Network of University Institutes for Research in Environmental Science and Technology (RIMA)

On 23 and 24 October, the First National Meeting of University Institutes for Research in Environmental Sciences and Related Fields was held in Zaragoza, promoted by the University Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences of Aragon (IUCA).

The director, Prof. Dr. José Juan Santana Rodríguez, attended the meeting as a representative of i-UNAT, presenting the main characteristics of our institute from the point of view of research, governance, infrastructure and activities. As a result of this meeting, the creation of the Network of University Institutes for Research in Environmental Sciences and Technologies (RIMA) was formalised, with the aim of collaborating in the search for joint solutions to major environmental challenges and strengthening links between research institutes at different universities.
